where data goes.
Review content
Screenshots, narration, typed notes, audio backups, and briefs are saved in your Chrome profile. SnapDictate’s licensing service does not receive this content or the URLs you review. Exported files go wherever you choose to save or share them. Removing the extension or profile may erase local reviews.
Speech and AI
Automatic speech uses on-device recognition when available; otherwise Chrome’s speech service may process audio online. Choose on-device-only transcription or typed review to avoid that fallback. Chrome’s built-in model generates briefs on compatible devices. Optional OpenRouter sends your review text and written notes to OpenRouter and the selected model provider after you confirm; screenshots and audio are not sent by that feature. Those providers have their own policies.
License and purchase data
The commerce service stores your purchase email, payment references, activation limit, random installation identifiers, friendly names, version, and validation times. Stripe handles card data. Supabase supports licensing and email sign-in. Transactional email uses the configured delivery provider. Security limits use hashed identifiers. Review content is excluded from licensing and analytics.
Control and support
You can delete individual reviews in the extension, remove your OpenRouter key, and deactivate installations through the license portal. Contact support to request access to or deletion of commercial account information, subject to applicable purchase-record retention requirements.
